Veterinary Medicine is my passion; I believe in ‘living and breathing’ vet medicine - even after 37 years as a vet, it continues to consume me. It meets my yearning for variety by opening so many opportunities to learn about nature, animals and medicine. My hobbies revolve around seeking out and being with nature like forest trekking and diving. Plus music and movies! I am genuinely predisposed to improving lives of those who cross my path, so I relish the ability this profession gives me to positively impact lives of people through animals.

Expertise and experience in multiple medical procedures and surgery, from the typical vomiting, diarrhoea, coughing and sneezing problems to other more involved cases. These include soft tissue surgery, radiography (Xrays), eye (ophthalmic) problems, skin problems including allergies, kidney failure, liver failure, cancer (neoplasia), seizures, anaemia, urinary tract infections (UTI), urinary bladder problems, feline urination problems and etc.

I enjoy being a GP vet as it allows me to learn new things daily. I strongly believe in preventative healthcare and am committed to provide the best for all my patients. In my free time, I like to travel and explore new cultures and cuisines.

Experience starting 2009. I started my career as a veterinary surgeon in mixed-practice, providing 24hr care to horses, cattle and sheep, as well as beloved pets, in a rural part of Ireland. After 5 years, I moved to Australia to focus solely on small animals. I enjoyed treating birds, reptiles and small furries, as well as dogs and cats. Later, I spent time in vet emergency clinics and then lived in the Middle East/West Asia for 6 years. Here, I was exposed to a huge variety of clinical cases. General veterinary practice is my field. My interests are dermatology, dentistry, medicine, surgery, ophthalmology and exotics.

From a very young age I knew that I had a deep love for animal in all shapes and forms. I grew up being inspired by amazing animal advocates like Steve Irwin, Sir David Attenborough, Dr Jane Goodall and many others.

Poisons consultant experience while working with the Animal Poisons Helpline in Australia. Experience with a variety of toxicology cases which is an area of special interest.

What I love most about my job is helping pet parents raise their babies, watching them grow up and being able to look after said babies when they need it the most. I feel so blessed to get to know and bond with my patients.

I have always loved animals since young, owning many pocket pets from primary school until I had achieved in getting a cat in 2020. Being able to get into my diploma and bachelor, as well as exposing myself more to the profession throughout the years gave me the affirmation that this was where I wanted to be. During my downtime, you would usually find me either crocheting or drawing at home, or out with friends exploring the country. Let’s not forget spending time with Loki, my cat who loves to demand for pats.

I have always had a deep affection for small animals and exotics. When I was 18 years old, my beloved cat tragically passed away from rat poisoning, and I had felt helpless in that situation. That experience had driven me to pursue this path and to constantly enhance my skills and knowledge in veterinary field so that I can ensure pets receive the best health support. In my free time, I enjoy cooking and reading to pass the time.
